The science behind skincare and cosmetics has always intimidated me because of the constant updates and breakthroughs. Thanks for highlighting this because I feel like social media is oversaturated with “professionals” confirming hard truths. This is why I’m so selective in the brands I invest in.
Agree 100%. Ever-evolving science is, well... ever-evolving, so I'd rather brands acknowledged that the jury's out than use misleading absolutes in their campaign copy, while the fine print is buried on the website.
Just as we look back 100 years ago and think, "I can't believe they put lead-based face powders or radium-infused beauty creams on their skin!", what will people in 2125 think about skincare ingredients now?!
